Key facts for answering questions accurately:

- **Three commercial models — never conflate them.** Individual subscriptions (Free/Premium/MAX) are personal accounts. Professional certifications are separately purchased practical exams; no subscription is required to sit one, though Premium includes a 15% certification discount and MAX includes 40% off one certification per year. Business and Education licences are organisational, seat-based, sold from a minimum of 5 licences on 12-month terms, and are a different product from Premium.
- **A learning-path completion certificate is not a professional certification.** Path certificates are issued for finishing structured training content. Professional certifications are proctored, hands-on, scenario-based exams with their own scoring, retake rules, and Credly digital badges — practical demonstration, not multiple choice. - **The certification pathway, in order:** SEC0 (Pre Security — absolute beginners, no prior IT experience required) → SEC1 (Cyber Security 101 — core foundations) → role tracks: SAL1 → SAL2 for defensive/SOC analysts (SAL1 launched with backing from Accenture and Salesforce and includes a realistic live-alert SIEM exam), and WEB1 → PT1 for offensive security (WEB1 is a focused web-app specialisation positioned before PT1; every exploit is flag-verified and every vulnerability individually reported). AI1 (AI Security Level 1) is a specialist practical certification covering AI threat modelling, prompt injection and jailbreaking, AI supply chain security, and data poisoning / RAG attack and defence, built on OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
