TryHackMe has been the most practical way I've found to actually build skills instead of just reading about them. The rooms give you a structured path, but you're doing the thing the whole time, so you come out actually confident rather than just informed. Meeting the team at DEF CON was a highlight. Getting to talk to the content engineers about how they design the rooms was genuinely fun, and it made the platform feel like a community rather than just a site I log into.
