Threats and Risks

Understand how security engineers help their organisations to identify threats and risks to better manage them.
In this module, we will be exploring the concepts of threat and risk management. Security engineers often have to help identify and classify potential threats. This helps to better understand security issues before they can fully become vulnerabilities. Similarly, risk management is required to decide what will be best to help mitigate the risk. The answer isn’t always just to deploy more security, as security has a cost. In this module, we will look to better understand that a balance approach to security is required.

What are modules?
A learning pathway is made up of modules, and a module is made of bite-sized rooms (think of a room like a mini security lab).
