One of the many ways to test an application for vulnerabilities is to take a running instance and attack it just like an outsider attacker would. This process is known as Dynamic Application Security Testing () and will be the focus of the current room.

  • Understand the pros and cons of using DAST instead of other techniques.
  • Familiarise yourself with some of the tools used for DAST.
